Epithalamin

Epithalamin is a crude polypeptide extract of bovine pineal glands while epithalon (also spelled “epitalon”) is a tetrapeptide isolate from epithalamin that can also be made synthetically. Epithalamin increases melatonin production by the pineal gland,improves immunological parameters,produces anticarcinogenic effects, stimulates antioxidant defenses and restores the reproductive function in old rats.
