HMG

Menotropin (also called human menopausal gonadotropin or hMG) is a hormonally active medication for the treatment of fertility disturbances. Frequently the plural is used as the medication is a mixture of gonadotropins. Human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG), which contains follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), can secrete gonadotropin to promote follicle maturation, so as to stimulate ovulation and to accelerate the development of corpus luteum.
